I’m Kimia, a Los Angeles-based PhD scientist with a penchant for baking. Through Main Export, I create confections and dishes inspired by a global palate and the simple belief that sweets are a fundamental joy of life.
My approach is centered on flavor over sugar. I prefer to keep things balanced so the actual ingredients can stand out, rather than letting sweetness dominate. To support this, I prioritize ethically sourced staples—like pasture-raised eggs and grass-fed dairy—along with organic or local ingredients whenever possible.
I personally handle every part of the process, from developing the recipes to filming and editing. I love the challenge of keeping the science and the art in sync, from the chemistry of a bake to the cinematography of a reel. My goal is simple: delivering my version of "good taste" to the world.
